We find ourselves in an interesting position.  As everyone knows, the House Republicans unanimously rejected the Democrats Spending Bill.  In doing so, the House GOP showed that they can return to the core principles of financial responsibility.  There is now the choice between choosing your Country or choosing your Party.  If the Senate Republicans hold true as did the House Republicans, the Bill will not pass and our future generations will be spared a ridiculous debt to pay off.  This is the best thing for our Nation, however, it will lead to an even darker period for the GOP.  If the Bill doesn't pass, and the economy continues to get worse (as it will), then the Democrats will be able to pin the blame on the Republicans for not taking action.  This will all but guarantee a victory for President Obama in four years.  If the GOP does cave in in the Senate, then they will be just as guilty as the Democrats for what happens to this Country.  It is not a great place to be.  What the Party needs to do is to push their economic stimulus plan to the people in an unprecedented way.  The Democrat's argument in the press now is that "they won" and so any dissent or rejection of their liberal wasteful-spending attitudes is merely an attempt to not be bipartisan.  They are now on the defensive and they are holding the bag for a very unpopular Bill.  We must take this opportunity to show the American People that we are indeed the Party looking out for them.
