We dont have our act together yet Jon O Wed, 25 Feb 2009 16:34:52 We need to get it together so we can win in 2010 and reverse all the stupid crap the dumbocrats are putting through. Ray P Wed, 25 Feb 2009 16:35:17 Other problen is we are all preaching to each other on Facebook ,conservative blogs and conservative talk shows. When do we come up with a plan to regain our strength? If the Democrats plan is that bad it will fail. Right now we can't change it. So lets let it fail.rebuild our base, become media savy, present our sloutions in a new way and move on and up. Stacey Wed, 25 Feb 2009 16:35:35 Truthfully, I know nothing about Bobby Jindal but don't think career politicians are the best at conveying the conservative message. We need someone who has spent most of their adult life in the private sector and, at their core, believes in the market. Of course, it makes sense if they have some governmental experience, in the Senate or as a Governor. The problem with people (even Republicans) who start in government in their 20s or 30s is that they believe goverment has to solve every problem. We need someone who has worked to find real solutions (not government so called solutions) to real problems and has been involved in the creation of jobs. Daphne T Wed, 25 Feb 2009 16:35:52 We need to get our act together. And not 2 months before the election! Kevin H Wed, 25 Feb 2009 16:36:05 So, unfortunately true. The thing that I found amazing during Barack's State of the Union Speech was that Nancy Pelosi couldn't move her face. Jon O Wed, 25 Feb 2009 16:36:17 I just heard Jindal on Sean Hannity's radio program and he sounded much better. Stacey Wed, 25 Feb 2009 16:36:30 Yeah well "didn't suck" isn't good enough.I don't think it's too much to expect the leader of our party to be bright, articulate, confident, philosophically consistent and comfortable in their own skin (not canned or packaged or overly rehearsed).
